11. Copycat Starbucks Pink Drink

My teenage daughter LOVES the “Pink Drink” from Starbucks. And while I know they’re good, and sometimes we splurge, I wanted to I create a copycat pink drink that’s more affordable and uses ingredients I know are good for my kids. In this fun summer drink, we use strawberries and pure pomegranate juice for that pink color and flavor. Then we add coconut milk for a bit of creaminess. Sometimes, I even add protein powder or collagen to the mix for an extra boost. Overall, it’s a healthier drink to keep you hydrated that you can drink anytime you want.

13. Cantaloupe Orange Ginger Turmeric Juice

Cantaloupe Orange Ginger Turmeric Detox.

I originally create this healthy orange drink as a healing remedy for cold and flu season since it’s full of antioxidants. But can I just say, I love this sweet citrusy drink in the summer too! It’s made with fresh cantaloupe and orange juice for vitamin C, beta carotene, and folate. The ginger and turmeric give it a unique zing and help with oxidative damage caused by the sun. During the summer I like to add a little sparkling water to lighten it up and serve it over ice to make it feel even more cool and refreshing. It’s the perfect summer drink to keep you hydrated or winter drink to keep you healthy!

14. Natural Electrolyte Drink: Homemade Gatorade

homemade electrolyte drink for hydration in a glass.

Our strawberry homemade electrolyte drink is such a simple way to support hydration using real, all-natural ingredients.  It contains potassium, sodium, and other minerals to help your body support fluid balance.  The light refreshing strawberry flavor comes from real strawberries, (none of that artificial flavoring!) and is the perfect way to replenish your electrolytes after an intense workout or long day in the summer heat. You’re going to love this clean and natural mocktail recipe!

Easy And Fun Summer Drinks

To keep these drinks feeling fun, I like to spruce them up with fun garnishes, glasses, and straws. Adding a slice of fruit to the rim of a cute glass or laying a fruit skewer across the top is one of my favorite ways to add even more hydration through food, but also make me feel like I’m joining in on a festive indulgence.

I stopped using plastic straws a long time ago and started using paper straws since they are more eco-friendly and come in fun colors. But recently, I really like these glass straws. I feel like they really elevate the drink and keep all my straws out of the landfill.

Another way to make these drinks fun is by using ice molds. I’ve used these round ball ice molds in several of my drink recipes, but you could get some fun shaped molds for the kids too.

With six kids, we often run out of ice in the summer so the molds are nice if we need extra, but I eventually just purchased this Countertop Ice Maker, and I have to tell you, it makes creating these drinks so easy and fun. Plus, we never run out of ice in the summer!
