Add into your mixing bowl all the burger ingredients except for the oil.
Stir thoroughly to combine, then take equal spoonfuls of your mixture and form into a 2 1/2" inch patty. Repeat with remaining meat mixture.
Heat your oil in a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until done to your liking.
Remove from heat and top each patty with cheese and allow it to slightly melt.
