Lemon Parmesan Salad

Ingredients 

  • 4 medium romaine hearts, rinsed well
  • 1 large Hass avocado, diced
  • 2 large organic lemons, juice, and zest
  • 1 cup freshly shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • sea salt freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions 

  • Halve your romaine lengthwise, lay on your cutting board cut-side down, and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place your chopped lettuce in a large salad bowl.
  • Add the chopped avocado then drizzle with the fresh lemon juice.
  • Add in the fresh lemon zest, shaved parmesan cheese, and olive oil.
  • Season with sea salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Toss to combine and serve!
