Parmesan Baked Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • sea salt and ground pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 Tbsps olive oil ghee, or avocado oil
  • 4 fresh garlic cloves pressed
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan
  • fresh lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees f.
  • Gently pat your shrimp dry using a paper towel.
  • Place the shrimp in a large baking dish and season with sea salt, pepper, and chili flakes to taste.
  • Add the pressed garlic, and fresh lemon zest, then drizzle with your oil of choice.
  • Toss gently to combine, then spread evenly in the dish.
  • Add a few fresh lemon wedges to your dish as shown.
  • Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes, or just until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and cooked through.
  • Serve with lemon wedges if desired.
  • Enjoy immediately while hot!
