In a mixing bowl add your ground oats, peanut butter and maple syrup. Stir thoroughly to combine well.
Take a spoonful of the mixture and roll it between your palms into a ball. Using your thumb shape it like a bird's nest (as shown in the photos), so you create space for the filling.
Add about 1/2 teaspoon of jam in center of each nest, then gently wrap and mold the peanut butter mixture around to close the ball.
Repeat with remaining dough and jam. You should have about 10-12 balls once finished.
Refrigerate 30 minutes then serve.
Keep refrigerated in an air tight container for up to 10 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
