Simple Avocado Tuna Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe avocados diced
  • 1 fresh lime juiced
  • 3, 5 ozs tuna in water flaked, drained well
  • 1 medium red onion small diced
  • 3 celery ribs small diced
  • 2 Tbsps capers chopped
  • 1 fresh garlic clove pressed or minced
  • one small bunch of fresh cilantro leaves minced
  • a handful of fresh dill minced
  • sea salt and ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Start by dicing your avocado; place them in a large bowl and drizzle in your fresh lime juice. Gently toss to coat.
  • Add the tuna, onion, celery, capers, garlic, and fresh herbs.
  • Season with sea salt and pepper to taste, then gently toss to combine.
  • Best enjoyed and consumed the same day, but it's still good for about 2 or 3 days in the fridge as long as the avocado is coated with plenty of fresh lime juice.
