Snicker Stuffed Dates

Ingredients 

  • 12 Medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup crunchy all-natural peanut butter, cold from the refrigerator
  • 2 Tbsps chopped peanuts
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, or chocolate pieces, melted
  • sea salt flakes, to taste

Instructions 

  • Place your peanut butter in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to harden up a bit.
  • Using a paring knife, carefully cut a slit into each date and remove each pit.
  • Fill each date with peanut butter.
  • Freeze for 15 minutes to set.
  • Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe bowl, or using a double broiler method; melt your chocolate chips and chop your peanuts.
  • Drizzle the dates with melted chocolate as shown in the photos and sprinkle with chopped peanuts and sea salt flakes.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
  • Leftovers stay good in the fridge for 3-4 days in a sealed container.
