3 Ingredient Italian Baked Eggs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups low sugar marinara sauce⁣⁣
  • 4 large pasture-raised eggs⁣⁣
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan⁣⁣
  • sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste⁣⁣⁣

Optional: red pepper flakes, or fresh chopped herbs such as Italian parsley ⁣⁣

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees f. ⁣⁣
  • Layer the marinara sauce into one medium sized baking dish or divide it among 4 small ones.⁣⁣
  • ⁣⁣Gently crack the eggs in, then sprinkle with parmesan, sea salt and black pepper.⁣⁣
  • ⁣⁣Bake in your preheated oven until the egg whites are cooked, about 15-20 minutes depending on your yolk preference.⁣⁣
  • ⁣⁣Serve while hot and enjoy!
