Preheat the oven to 375 degrees f and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice the avocado into thin wedges lengthwise, about 4 per half, as shown.
Gently remove the peel from the avocado slices then wrap each one with a strip of bacon, and place on the baking sheet.
Depending on how thin your bacon strips are, bake for 10-15 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and serve with a squeeze of lemon.
