The BEST Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

Ingredients 

  • one bunch fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • small bunch fresh flat-leaf/Italian parsley leaves, chopped
  • small bunch fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • small bunch fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 3 fresh garlic cloves, very finely chopped
  • 1/2 leek, sliced
  • 1 red chili pepper, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 5 Tbsps high quality extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsps apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsps raw honey
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions 

  • Place the herbs, garlic, leek and chili in a food processor.
  • Add oil, vinegar, honey and salt.
  • Pulse until finely chopped.
  • Enjoy this chimichurri sauce all summer long with grilled meat, veggies, or use it as a marinade for your favorite steak.
  • Keep it refrigerated in a jar with tight lid for up to 4-5 days.
