Creative Orange filled Jack O’Lanterns
A FUN weekend craft-to-eat idea!
This is such a neat activity to share with the kiddos!
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 large oranges
- 2 cups of mixed fresh berries
- about 4 kiwis, peeled and diced
- 2 Tbsp raw honey
Instructions:
In a medium bowl mix the berries, kiwi and honey.
Cut a hole around the orange stem.
Using a spoon, scoop out the insides and place it in a bowl.
Keep in the fridge and use it for smoothies later on.
Sketch the desired face of your Jack-o-lantern.
Using a small knife, cut along chosen design.
Remove loose pieces of orange skin and discard them.
Fill them up with fruit and put the stem back on.
