Chocolate Fondue 💋💋💋

It’s LOVE month, and there’s just something ultra-romantic about beautiful fresh fruit dipped in silky melted dark chocolate.

Set this intimate scene for yourself, or surprise your special sweetheart this Valentine’s day â¤

The edible flowers really take this idea up a notch, just make sure any flowers you add are truly edible.

Such a SIMPLE idea that’ll REALLY impress!

Lots of questions about chocolate brands – I like to visit the specialty (nicer) chocolate section at the stores and find a really high quality, (often organic) dark chocolate bar on SALE – so

I’m always trying something different because I shop the sales.

âž¡ï¸ Sweetness Factor:

A very personal taste preference, so you may want to use more or less honey/maple syrup, depending on YOUR family’s specific taste preferences.

âž¡ï¸Rachel’s notes:

Use any dark chocolate chips of your choice: the higher cacao percentage, the better.

If you’re looking to keep sugars lower; try Lily’s brand chocolate that is sweetened with stevia.

4-6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 2-3 Tbsps raw honey, or pure maple syrup
  • 9 oz dark chocolate pieces or chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

To serve:

  • fresh pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pear, kiwi, bananas, & edible flowers

Instructions:

In a small saucepan or double broiler, add the coconut cream, honey, vanilla, and chocolate.

Place over medium-low heat and whisk until chocolate is melted and smooth.

Place your chocolate dip into a fondue pot/bowl and serve immediately with fruit of your choice.

Enjoy!
