This technique will make your Brussels delicious & a lot more FUN!

4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Brussels Sprouts, rinsed & stem slightly trimmed
  • 2 Tbs extra virgin olive oil Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges for threading
  • 1 Tbs minced garlic (optional)
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Heat Grill to Medium {Place Brussels in a large microwave safe bowl, drizzle lemon juice over them. Microwave for 3 minutes. Alternatively, you can roast at 400 degrees f for about 15 minutes on a flat sheet pan. (Microwave method is a lot simpler)

Toss Brussels in olive oil, garlic, sea salt, & pepper.

Thread onto metal skewers(metal can handle the texture of the Brussels) alternate 2 sprouts to 1 small lemon wedge.

Grill about 5 minutes per side(turning once) on a preheated medium grill.
