Lemon-Basil Chicken Breasts stuffed with Asparagus
These Chicken Breasts were so GOOD & Easy last night!
Put them on your menu this week! 🙂
Ingredients:
- 6 chicken breasts
- One bunch coarse chopped basil
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- Juice of 2-4 fresh squeezed lemons (depending on preferences)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp #flavorgod lemon & garlic seasoning (optional no msg, gluten-free seasonings found @flavorgod)
Instructions:
In a gallon Ziploc or glass bowl, combine all ingredients then add the chicken. Place in the refrigerator for 2-6 hours
After marinating, use a sharp knife to make a pocket in each breast.
Place a fresh lemon slice, a basil leaf, and several sprigs of fresh asparagus.
Grill over medium-high heat until no longer pink in the center.
Bake on a flat sheet pan, at 350 degrees f for 30-40 minutes, until the juices run clear.
