Quick Turkey Taco Salad
This has become our new favorite, and I’ve been making it once a week! The turkey taco meat is soooo good! This is also a great meal prep idea.

Makes 6-8 servings
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 lbs organic ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 2 Tbsp organic tomato paste
- 1/2 cup organic bone broth or chicken stock
- 8 cups green leaf lettuce (or any other greens that you like)
- 4 radish, sliced
- 1 pint of cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 jalapeno, sliced
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, sliced
- 2 avocados, sliced
Add avocado oil to a skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add in your onions and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add turkey meat and break up with your wooden spoon. Let cook, stirring often for 7-8 minutes.
Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, and sea salt, stir well.
Add tomato paste and bone broth and stir until all is well combined.
Add freshly ground black pepper, and more sea salt if needed.
For the Salad:
Combine lettuce, radish, tomatoes, and jalapeño in a large bowl.
Add your turkey taco meat over the top.
Add avocado, cilantro, and lime slices.
Serve with your favorite salsa.
