Sacia Lost 7.6lb in 30 Days
It’s not always the amount of weight loss but the healthy results that matter most!
Today’s Transformation is an example of just that.
Meet Sacia who lost 7.6 lbs and has energy to do Dance Dance Revolution!
My name is Sacia W. I’m 43-year-old classroom teacher who loves spending time with my husband, daughter and son.
Most of us love to read and then watch the movie and always say, “The book was better.”We will be the first to admit we are a little nerdy (think Harry Potter, Marvel, etc). We all love playing sports and games. Anywhere we can hang out with each other is our favorite place to be.
My Beautiful Family
I have been following Rachel and CleanFoodCrush on and off for a while now.
I finally feel like I have committed; I am putting myself at the top of my list right now. It’s hard when you are a mom of two (teenager and a tween), a school teacher, wife, the soccer van, football, musical, band, etc., you get the point.
I know we are all busy though, so I fought to find time to take care of ME for awhile.
I put myself on the calendar and took 30 days to build new habits, but I also live my life without deprivation.
During the Challenge, I lost 7.6 lbs and 16 inches! I started on June 19th at 224.2 lbs and by July 17th was down 216.6lbs
I am so excited!!
Over the years, I have always had a yo-yo scale. In high school, I was a ballet dancer and my weight wasn’t a struggle.
Once my metabolism decided to take a hike and after two kids, that’s when my weight decided it wasn’t so much of a yo-yo but a rollercoaster, with the exception of A LOT of steep hills, but not many low valleys.
The other thing I’ve always struggled with is sweets. I have always had not just a sweet “tooth”, but sweet teeth.
I also get on the vicious cycle of salt, sweet, salt, sweet and it never seems to stop – especially when I am stressed, which is frequent.
Not only that, after being in class and “on stage” for my students, I would come home exhausted after being the “mom van”, to make dinner at 6:00, sometimes 7:00 pm was just not an option.
😞Most nights, we would hit a drive-thru.😞 I have a couple of picky eaters in my house and many sweet teeth!
So it is hard to keep things that are healthy in the house that all of my family will eat.
The Experience with The Challenge!
Not gonna lie; the first few days are a little shaky.
However, after Day 2 my energy crept up to places it hadn’t seen in years.
I wanted to exercise…not sure the last time that had been.
My daughter and I have been doing Dance Dance Revolution (or whatever it’s called) together, giving me an accountability partner for the exercise part.
