A Homemade Version of a York Peppermint Patty {Made Clean}
Recipe from my HAWT CHOCOLATE eCookbookĀ available RIGHT NOW!!!Ā 
Makes 12
Ingredients:Ā
- 1 ½ cup shredded unsweetened coconut (Letās do Organic brand tastes best for these)
- 2 TbspsĀ coconut milk
- 2 TbspsĀ coconut oil
- ¼ cup raw honey (buy local!)
- ½ tsp peppermint extract
- 1 cup of dark chocolate, melted I really like Lily’s brand dark chocolate sweetened with steviaĀ because of it’s lower sugar content.
Directions:
In a blender pulse the shredded coconut, coconut milk, coconut oil, honey, and peppermint extract.
Process until a smooth paste has formed.
Shape the paste into round discs and coat/drizzle with a light coat of melted chocolate.
Place the patties on wax paper, then set in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
Enjoy! Store leftovers (tightly wrapped) in the fridge or freezer! ā”
P.S. I sprinkled mine with a tiny dusting of organic candy cane (CORN SYRUP FREE)
