Antipasto Party Skewers

Everyone LOVES food-on-a-stick😁

These are REALLY FUN for Summertime entertaining & parties.

Traditional antipasto presentations are generally very colorful and boast many diverse items, to get people excited for the meal.

Make a bunch of these, then set them out on a large serving tray with a big bowl of ice underneath. You’ll receive lots of compliments and you’ll actually get to enjoy your friends since the work is already done. My favorite way to entertain!

Antipasto skewers always go really fast, so be sure to make a bunch!

➡️ Rachel’s tips:

Since there are only a few simple ingredients used here, I really recommend using the absolute freshest, highest quality ingredients you can get your hands on…it makes all the difference.

Traditional prosciutto contains no added preservatives and the only ingredients are pork and salt.

Some cheaper prosciutto products do use nitrates as preservatives. If you want to avoid nitrates and preservatives then look for prosciutto which has a “PDO certification” or specifically says that no nitrates or preservatives are added.

Be sure to also try:

10 skewers

Ingredients:

  • 10, 6-inch bamboo skewers
  • 10 cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 10 mozzarella balls
  • 10 extra large pitted olives of choice
  • 5 slices of nitrate-free prosciutto, halved
  • 10 whole marinated artichokes hearts, sliced
  • 10 pickled onions or any pickled vegetable
  • fresh basil leaves

Instructions:

Skewer the ingredients as follows onto your bamboo skewers: tomato, mozzarella, olive, prosciutto, artichoke, and onions.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves and freshly cracked pepper and serve.

Enjoy!
