1. You WILL lose weight but it takes time, dedication and trust.
Remember to give yourself credit for all of the little things along the way. Notice how you FEEL. Do you have a little more energy? Do you feel healthier? Those are signs that you’re doing great. Keep going! Sometimes when you’re stressed or you’ve been carrying extra weight for many years (or your entire life), the process to shedding weight may take a bit longer. Your body needs time to adjust and recognize it’s safe before gently releasing the weight. Sometimes pounds melt off effortlessly, sometimes you need to practice patience. 2. Remember You’re WORTH It.
You deserve to experience a life where you look and feel your very best. You are worth the time and energy required to make a lifestyle shift and put in a few hours of meal prep each week. Busy moms often spend so many of their years looking after everyone else that they forget or even feel guilty when it’s time to give themselves extra attention. 3. Believe You’ll Succeed, Or You Won’t.
You have everything you need to experience transformation, but without belief in yourself and the process, you’ll remain stuck. When you’re feeling doubtful, remind yourself WHY you’re doing this. I suggest writing down a list of reasons why you want to succeed with Clean Eating and what the benefits of those results will be. Post them up somewhere in your kitchen, bathroom or bedroom and let those fuel you in times when you need motivation. Looking great and fitting into new clothes is fun, absolutely. Want to know what’s even better? Feeling energized, confident and inspired in life!
