There are many high-quality bacon options available these days. Look for nitrate-free and humanely raised if possible. Always read the ingredients so you know what you’re really buying.

Leftover Storage Instructions

This creamy pea salad keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 5 days for a quick and easy snack or side dish. I don’t recommend freezing it due to the texture quality of the bacon after freezing. However, if you were to leave the bacon out, then it should freeze well for up to 3 months…just add the bacon right before eating!
