Quick + Easy Fruit Salad
This fruit salad just feels like a bowl of much needed sunshine right now.
How about a BIG BRIGHT Fruit Salad to start the New Week?!!
Whether it’s Breakfast, Snack, or Dessert…fruit is an EXCELLENT choice.
Fruit is “nature’s candy” and besides being delicious, it has MANY nutritional benefits!
Fruit contains lots of fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Fruit can boost our immune system because many fruits are very high in vitamin C. Our body doesn’t store vitamin C, so we need to eat vitamin C rich foods every single day.
You can substitute any fruit you may have on hand, just use this recipe for inspiration.
Children (and adults) are eating more processed foods than ever. Many days kids skip fruit entirely because they’re reaching for, and filling up on the processed cereals or “fruit” snacks instead.
The truth is, if we take the time to prepare, chop, and serve fresh fruits at mealtimes, then we’re all much more likely to actually eat them.
Chop up a big bowl of fruit at breakfast time, then keep the leftovers easily accessible in the fridge for your family to snack on throughout the day. They will eat it because it’s ready and convenient!
This fruit salad also makes a beautiful dish to bring to parties or Summer BBQS.
