🍯 The sweetness factor is such a PERSONAL preference, so please consider this when adding in raw honey. Depending on your taste, you may want a bit more or less.

🍋 ALWAYS use freshly-squeezed lime juice from an actual fresh lime. Bottled lime juice from the store will give your salad a strange metallic or overly acidic taste.

Want to get the most juice possible from each of your fresh limes? Of course, we do! Here’s a quick trick:

On your counter or a cutting board, press and roll the lime back and forth very firmly with your hands.

The rolling loosens and breaks down some of the citrus membranes and makes the outside a little more pliable. This makes it easier to squeeze which also means you’ll likely get more juice from your squeeze.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe honeydew melon, cut into 1″ cubes
  • 1 large pomegranate, seeds/arils only
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 6 passion fruit, halved and scooped
  • 1 large lime, juice of
  • 2-3 Tbsps raw honey, to taste

Instructions:

Slice your melon in half and scoop out the inside seeds.  Remove the rind and cut into 1″ cubes. Place the melon cubes in a large serving bowl.

Take a second bowl and fill it halfway with water. Break your pomegranate in quarters and dip the quarters into the water bowl to easily deseed it.

Once all the seeds/arils are out, drain the bowl and place all of your pomegranate seeds/arils into the bowl with the melon.

To prepare your passion fruit, cut it in half and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Add the blackberries, raspberries, and passion fruit to your serving bowl.

Drizzle with your fresh lime juice and honey. Gently toss to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
