Fawn is a 47-year-old Curriculum Coordinator from the desert southwest in California. Married with two sons, she loves spending time outdoors with her family, adventuring in their RV, and riding RZRs through the desert.
Like many busy professionals, Fawn struggled to find balance between her work, home life, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. But in 2022, she discovered CleanFoodCrush, which would change her life in ways she hadn’t expected. Here’s Fawn’s story in her own words.
Meet Fawn!
“I first came across Rachel Maser and CleanFoodCrush back in September 2022.
I started following the Facebook page because the healthy recipes looked so delicious, and I’m always looking for new ideas to try with my family.
The first photo we crossed a river so blue because it was made from the glacier ice melting! Such a beautiful vantage point! Nature truly is a place of calming, peace and adventure. All things that make for a memorable family vacation. We love adventure and all things outdoors. This includes hiking, mountain biking, fishing, camping.
I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first. I had been trying to lose weight on my own, exercising and making healthier food choices, but nothing seemed to work. I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. So, when I joined the Challenge, I thought, ‘If I can just lose 5 pounds, I’ll be happy.’
To my surprise, I lost 10 pounds in the first 30 days!
It was such an incredible feeling to see real progress after struggling for so long.
My family also loves water, even if just to put our feet in and find peace. My boys were fishing somewhere along this creek, I enjoyed the fresh air and Mountain Views
Before CleanFoodCrush, my biggest obstacle was that I thought I was eating healthy when I really wasn’t.
I’d do well for one or two meals a day, but then I’d snack mindlessly or grab candy at work without even thinking about it.
And whenever we went out to eat, I would overeat.
I felt tired all the time, and after a long day at work, all I wanted to do was crash on the couch.
Fast food and processed meals became our go-to, which contributed to my weight gain, low energy, and lack of motivation.
🌟Week by week, I noticed my clothes fit better, but it wasn’t just about weight loss.
🌟My energy levels skyrocketed
🌟My mood improved, and
🌟I stopped craving soda altogether!
This was the first 30-Day Challenge I’ve completed, but it won’t be the last.
The results have been amazing, and I’m eager to explore other programs to continue building on this new, healthier relationship with food.
If you’re thinking about joining, my advice is simple: don’t wait. Start today, and trust the process. The first few days are tough, but by day three or five, you’ll start to see real changes.
Took a break from the mountain bike trail at Blackcomb Mountain to enjoy the view of 2 baby black bears and their mama coming out to graze in the field
That momentum will keep you going. Don’t forget to take photos and measurements—they’re a great way to track your progress beyond the scale.
And most importantly, remember that this lifestyle is a marathon, not a sprint. Celebrate every non-scale victory along the way.
It’s hard to pick just two, but the Spicy Lettuce Wraps were a hit with my family, and I loved the Blender Oatmeal Muffins with blueberries for breakfast.
Honestly, every recipe we tried was amazing. The best part was that my husband, kids, and even my mother-in-law were excited to try new foods and recipes with me.
We all enjoyed the meals, and I never felt deprived or craved anything off-plan. This experience has been life-changing for all of us.
