How Sunny Lost 50 Pounds and Gained a Lifetime of Energy

They say sometimes it takes a long time to remain consistent. Achieving our health goals is one thing but continuing on the path and maintaining that new lifestyle is the ultimate achievement.

We caught up with Sunny who’s last challenge ended in 2022. Two years later he is still CRUSHING IT! When Sunny did his first challenge he lost 22lbs. You can read that story here.

Meet Sunny!

Hey everyone, Sunny here! Since ending my last 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge  I’ve been following the plan about 90% of the time since the challenge ended in 2022, I’m excited to share the incredible transformation I’ve experienced.

Rewind to when I first signed up for the challenge—I was at 190lbs, feeling sluggish, especially during those tough afternoons.

Fast forward to today, and I’m a whole new person at around 140lbs.

More importantly, my energy levels are consistently high; no more of that sluggish 2pm feeling because I’ve mastered the art of smart snacking.

The results? They’re pretty amazing.

I feel healthier overall—my skin is smoother, and my hair has grown impressively.

But what really made a difference was the support from the CleanFoodCrush team.

All of the team members have gone through the challenge themselves so their firsthand experience and guidance, along with the camaraderie from fellow “crushers,” made all the difference.

It felt like we were all in the same boat, aiming for the same goal of long-term health.

What keeps me going now is the joy of playing with my kids without feeling tired, moving around with ease, and just enjoying life in a healthy, energetic body.

My transformation has not only been personal; it’s been a family journey.

My wife has been an incredible support, and together, we’re teaching our kids about healthy sugar habits, emphasizing quality food over quantity.  I can’t take away their sugar because they are kids, but I can control how much they are eating.

The way I approach food has fundamentally changed. I focus on meals with solid, whole ingredients. It’s not just about losing weight—it’s about creating a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.

For those of you considering a change or facing challenges in your health journey, my advice is simple: don’t give up.

The path might be tough, but the destination, as I’ve discovered, is absolutely worth it.
