Easy Baked Tortilla Chips
With all of the upcoming parties and gatherings happening, dips & chips are an EASY and popular snack or appetizer to feed your crowd.
If you’d rather skip the deep-fried packaged tortilla chips, say goodbye to vegetable & canola oils, and have much better control of the added sodium content…then you’ll enjoy making your own crispy corn tortilla chips at home!
You’ll need a high-quality organic corn tortilla to start with:
I highly recommend the “Food for Life” brand Sprouted Whole Kernel Corn “Taco Size” Tortillas.
Different from most corn tortillas today, these unique tortillas are made from freshly sprouted organic whole kernel corn.
They use no cornmeal or corn flour.

Ingredients:

1 x 12 oz package sprouted corn tortillas

avocado oil cooking spray

1 Tbsp taco seasoning
-
1 tsp fine sea salt, or to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees f. and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
Stack the tortillas and slice them into 6 wedges as shown.
Place all the tortilla wedges in a large bowl.
Spritz lightly avocado oil and sprinkle with the seasonings. Toss well with your hands and try to rub the wedges on both sides to coat well.
Transfer to your prepared sheet pan arranged in a single layer. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Allow your chips to cool before serving as they’ll crisp up as they cool. Serve with your favorite dip and enjoy!
