Meet Alecia, who lost 25 pounds and 24 inches with CleanFoodCrush!
My name is Alecia and I am 54 years old. I am a wife, mother of 3 bright and talented young women, and Gramma B to a fun-loving, energetic grandson.
For 20 years I have been blessed by a hard-working man and have been able to stay home as a domestic engineer for most of those 20 years. Homeschooling my youngest daughter from preschool has been a great joy/challenge.
My happy place is in the kitchen. I love food videos and I love trying out as many recipes as possible, the more butter and sugar the better.
My church asked me to be Hospitality Director 2 1/2 years ago. I was set right in the middle of my gifting! I do most of the cooking and baking for small and large events. One year we served dinners to over 1000 people in a week for Vacation Bible School. I love every second of it.
I found myself in constant pain, not able to do what I love and feeling horrible in general.
I realized that God was giving me warnings that things needed to change. I’ve been a part of the CFC Facebook pages for about 2 years. I watched and learned little bits here and there. I wanted to join the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge but finances were an issue. I never took the final steps.
Facing COVID-19 and an extended stay-at-home order in March, I felt it was an opportunity to finally make CFC into my reality. It was a perfect opportunity. I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to waste this chance for change.
The challenge has been more eye-opening than I could ever imagine.
I have completely relearned how to cook and eat.
Nutrition and food for fuel is my new life.
Rachel has developed a life-changing education and support system with CFC.
I have learned SO much. The recipes she has developed are nothing short of brilliant and delicious.
Since starting the challenge almost 11 weeks ago, I have lost 25 pounds and 24 inches.
My pain is almost gone and I feel great!
My 17 year old has joined me on this journey. She loves most of the food and enjoys being in the kitchen creating with me.
I have a long way to my final goal… it won’t happen overnight.
I’m going to enjoy the journey for a healthy life. I cant go back!
If you are considering taking the challenge, make up your mind and do it as if its the fight for your life.
