Hi, I’m Cindy, and this is how I lost 10 Pounds and 4 Inches with the Clean Food Crush 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge.
I have been married for 30 years and have two adult children. I became an empty nester in Fall 2019 when my youngest daughter moved out to go to college. With the kids out of the house, it was easier for my husband and me to go out to eat. We found ourselves eating out almost 3 times a day.
One of my biggest struggles before this challenge, working as a pharmaceutical sales rep is I sometimes spend up to 6 hours a day traveling in my car as well as providing breakfast and lunches for my clients. I found myself eating all the meals I would provide for the doctors. When I would get off of work I found it easier to pick up carry out on my way home rather than to cook dinner for me and my husband. However, when I did find time to cook the meals would be high carb meals. Living in New Mexico we have an abundance of homemade tortillas, enchiladas, and pastas.
When I turned 55 in February and saw a picture of myself, and I knew something needed to change.Â
The CleanFoodCrush and 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge has helped me transform 100% by cutting out fast food and eating out.
I now have learned how to prepare fresh meals that have proteins, fruits, veggies, and complex carbs. I have learned that it is just as easy to prepare a clean healthy meal as it is to go pick up a fast food meal. Â
- In just 30 Days, the shape and size of my body have changed.
- I have lost 10 pounds and 12 inches overall.
- Now after work, instead of laying on the couch watching TV, I have the energy and will to walk up to 4 miles a day.Â
This challenge has brought me and my family together, especially during this quarantine.
We excitedly talk about our meals and how we all now enjoy eating clean. It was easier having the whole family on board rather than doing this alone.
My oldest daughter is getting married next Summer. As the mother of the bride, I am now excited to go try on new dresses then I was once dreading before I started this challenge.
For newcomers joining this challenge just do it. You will NOT regret it. Instead of thinking about the whole 30 days overall, think about one meal and one day at a time.
