My name is Jill and I’m 41, married and recently lost weight with the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge. This is my review and transformation story 🙂
In my free time, I like to cook, spend time with my husband and family and go on mini excursions and adventures on the weekends with my hubby.
My previous job was a bit stressful and I gained over 40 pounds. In April 2019 I weighed 298 and was told I had a tear in my spine.
The specialist told me I needed to lose weight, but with my injury, exercise options were super limited. I knew I’d have to do this mainly through diet. That’s when I joined CleanFoodCrush.
By following the daily tips in the CleanFoodCrush group I lost 18 pounds just by changing my eating habits! In June, I hit a plateau and I decided to join the Challenge group for 30 days with a start weight of 279.8
At the end of the 30 days of the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge, I was down to 269 and had lost 10.8 pounds and all of this is with eating only as I am unable to exercise still.
I have continued Eating Clean and am down to 265 (there was a vacation in there where I splurged a lot). I am down a total of 33 pounds since April and I feel great! I’m so proud of what I’ve accomplished through diet alone.
Before the Challenge, I let being busy get in the way of Eating Clean. I grabbed take-out all the time and didn’t really plan ahead. This resulted in eating way too many processed foods and a lot of cheese.
Now that I’ve taken the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge, I have the knowledge and tools to succeed! I meal prep food for the week on Sunday’s and have become more efficient at it so it doesn’t take me all day.
I plan out all of my family’s food for the week and make healthy choices.
Since taking the challenge, I’ve experienced SO many amazing changes in how I look and feel. Here are a few:
- I no longer crave cheese or ice cream! I substitute nice cream for regular ice cream and am happy. I also have way more energy.
- I have lost a total of 40 inches combined from everywhere on my body.
- My blood sugar has decreased dramatically.
- I had inflammation throughout my body and that has decreased as well.
- I feel healthier in general.
- I went down 2 sizes in clothes.
My husband wasn’t on board at first but he’s come around and now he happily eats the same as I do. It has been great for the two of us! We plan things out together and food prep together. It’s a new way of life and we have tried so many different foods that are good for us.
My advice for beginners to Clean Eating. Make yourself a priority and stick with it for the 30 days. It will make all the difference and will soon become a habit and second nature. You deserve this opportunity to feel amazing in your own body.
