Hi there!
My name is Kim and I lost 30 pounds on the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge! This is my story and review of the program 🙂
I am 54 years old and I am a mother to 3 children. I have 1 girl, 2 boys plus I’m a “stepmom” to my boyfriend’s 2 kids. All but one are out of high-school and the last one graduates this year. I work in finance for a major healthcare company and have been there for almost 12 years. I really love to travel if my budget allows it.Â
I have struggled with weight almost my entire life. After high-school, I gained some weight. I started exercising in my 20’s and was thin through most of my 20s and early 30s. Then I got married and started a family. It seemed like it was much more difficult to lose weight. I either didn’t have the time, or I didn’t have the energy!
I have tried so many diet programs. I would have some success and then life would happen and I would gain back the 20+ pounds I lost and then some.
At the beginning of 2018, I made a promise to myself that I was going to start taking care of myself by eating right. Â
Back then I had already started back to the gym, so I knew the exercise part of it wouldn’t be too hard to do. I had been following CleanFoodCrush on Facebook for quite some time. I saved many of the recipes and shared a lot of them too.
In January, I decided I was going to do one of Rachel’s 30 Day Clean Eating Challenges. I got all the information and was really excited to start this new adventure! I have to say, it was SO much easier than I thought it would be.
All of the recipes were so good and the plan was laid out so well that it was easy to follow. I still need to work on food prep but it’s working for me without having that mastered, and I know it will come eventually.

My family supports me in my journey to do this, although they are not interested in eating the way I am eating. I told them that was fine, but I wasn’t going to be making 2 different meals and if they weren’t interested in what I was making they were on their own. That has worked pretty well so far. The truth is, people, have their own ideas of what Clean Eating really is, but it’s actually really delicious, yummy, and real food. The recipes in the program are fantastic!
Here’s my BEFORE & AFTER the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge!
I lost track a little bit, but plan to continue the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge by becoming an annual member. I know that this is a lifestyle, not a short-term fix. I have lost a total of 30 pounds by eating clean and I have another 20 to go to reach my goal weight. I wanted to share my story now because setting smaller goals and celebrating the wins along the way is so essential. This is a journey, and the way the program is designed gives us a chance to build a new relationship with food where we get to enjoy what we eat!Â
If you are like me and are wondering if the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge is something you should try, I say YES! Is there a better investment than investing in yourself and your health?
I think not! Rachel has the plan laid out so well and once you get through the first week it is so much easier! I believe in you and I believe in this program. Put the two together and your success is inevitable 🙂Â
