Frozen Banana Pops
Makes 10 treats
- 5 bananas
- 2 Tbsps coconut oil
- 1.5 cups high quality dark, or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Chopped nuts such as: cashews, peanuts, almonds, pistachios, coconut flakes, chia, or poppy seeds.
Cut the bananas in half and insert a popsicle stick into each one on the cut side.
Place them on a tray and freeze for 1-2 hours.
In a small pan on the stove top, or using the microwave, melt the chocolate and coconut oil together. Whisk well to combine.
Dip frozen bananas in the melted chocolate using a spoon to evenly coat.
Immediately sprinkle with toppings of choice, then freeze again for 30 min.
