This is the story of how CleanFoodCrush helped me lose 10.5 pounds and 6 inches.
In April 2015 I had an MRI on my neck because there was a nodule on my thyroid. Every 6 months for the first 2 years I had follow-up appointments to have total thyroid blood work profiles with ultrasounds along with another biopsy. Results remained stable until January 2017 my last biopsy pathology came back and follow up with a surgeon as advised.
I was told I needed my right thyroid removed and that I should consider getting both sides out because if they found more cancer, I’d have to have a second surgery. I opted to have the entire thyroid removed and Iin February 2017 I had a total thyroidectomy done.
I recovered from the surgery successfully along with medication to replace my thyroid removal. I recovered, and all of my follow-up appointments went well, however, I wasn’t feeling like me after a year of surgery.
- My endocrinologist told me at the time of my 2-week post-op this could take a year to feel better.
- My energy wasn’t good and I was experiencing fatigue that led to anxiety.
- I had no ambition to exercise like I had in the past and my nutrition was off the grid. Feeling low caused me to have low regard for the types of foods I was putting into my body.
- My weight had increased and the chronic IBS that I had suffered from most of my life was miserable. Nothing was making me feel better. I was at the end of my rope and was beginning to think this was just how my life was going to look.
Until one day my life long dear friend Donna told me about the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge that she was on with CleanFoodCrush.
Her results were absolutely amazing to witness. I reached out to her in early April 2018, a year after my surgery. She sent me all the information on CleanFoodCrush and I was really excited because I was so impressed with her results and the program. Not only that, but Rachel’s recipes looked amazing!!
I joined the Clean Eating Challenge in April 2018. In my first week, I lost 3 pounds and 2 inches. I already felt better by the end of that first week. Weekly food prep became a key to success and my husband was amazed by all the meals I was cooking for us!
My journey was more fun and easeful because he chose to participate with me, and he really loved the food we were eating. There were bumps along the way but that didn’t stop me from continuing on the path. The support group provided me with so many incredible tools that I’ll take with me for the rest of my life.
I’m thrilled to share this testimony with others who may be going through something similar to what I experienced. I also realized that how I started feeling was so much more important than the number on the scale. I was getting my life back because of this program! My clothes started to fit so much better and I saw the results in inches as well.
I make Rachel’s recipes ALL the time and my family loves them! Words cannot express how much support I get out of this plan and the recipes every single day. My life today is a 100% turnaround from when I started.
