My name is Heidi Joyce and I’m 42 yrs old.
This is my personal experience with the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge and how I broke my sugar-addiction, overcame binge eating and transformed my life 🙂
I’ve been married for 10 years (wow!) and have 2 children age 4 and 9 yrs old 🙂 I’ve been a stay at home mom for the last 9 years. I love to hang with my family, hang with friends, craft, exercise and love road trips!
Before joining the 30 day challenge I struggled with eating all the wrong foods. I’ve been struggling with my weight since after my 1st pregnancy. I tried Weight Watchers, low carb, HCG, low calorie, different diet pills and the Beyond Diet program.
I would lose 4-5 lbs and then feel on top of the world and sabotage myself and eat bad and gain all weight back. Everytime I looked at food I was overcome with guilt, but I didn’t care. I would binge eat anyways because I was seriously addicted to sugar.
My mind obsessed about food 24/7 and I felt trapped.
I never wanted to go do anything fun outside or go have fun with my kids because I didn’t feel good about myself. I didn’t like the way I looked and always avoided having my picture taken.
Since joining the 30 day Cleaning Eating Challenge I have never felt SO GOOD!! I’ll admit, I was very scared in the beginning that I’d lose the usual 4-6 lbs and then sabotage myself all over again. But I powered through.
That first 7 days of the challenge was the answer to all of my problems! I had to change my way of thinking about food and life, and it was so worth it! Will you believe I can even make cake now with out a single desire to have any? That would NEVER have been possible before the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge!
Here Are Some of My Results from Taking the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge
- I lost 9.4 lbs and 13.5 inches in during the first 30 days.
- I went from wearing size 8-10 to wearing a size 6.
- I have so much more energy and can think so much more clearer.
- I don’t think about food 24/7 anymore, binge eat or fear that the numbers on the scale will be going up.
The 30 day challenge has taught me how strong I really am. I’ve never felt so determined to make a change for my health and life.
Now I’m actually excited to get dressed in the morning and leave my house to have fun with my kids!
The 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge was so worth it. There is so much support in the facebook group. I use to hate cooking, but Rachel’s recipes are so fun and tasteful. My family still eats foods that I’ve cut out of my life, but I’ve slowly introduced different clean foods and they’ve been a big hit! In due time my household will eat clean. It’s been an important step for me to practice self-care and do this for me, and trust that when it’s time, the rest will follow 🙂
Joining the 30 Clean Eating Challenge is one of the BEST things I’ve ever done for myself. The 30 days goes by fast and before you know it, you will look and feel amazing! I’ve continued on and each day I feel better and better!
Here’s my advice if you’re about to start the challenge yourself:
- Try to stay off the scale as I know it is so tempting. Go by how you feel and how your clothes are fitting.
- Trust the process and the advice that is given inside the plan. IT WORKS!
- The first week of the 30 Clean Eating Challenge is, well, a challenge, but it is 100% worth it!
- The private group is hands down the MOST supportive place for you to transform your life 🙂
