Hi there!

My name is Shalece and I lost 12 pounds with the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge. This is my review of the program and I hope it helps you find the inspiration and motivation to make your own transformation a reality!

I’m the wife to an awesome guy and a mother of four kids, who are the center of my universe.  I enjoy working out and spending time with my family. I also love camping, shopping, and baking.


I have been on a constant roller coaster of weight loss and weight gain since my early thirties. I would do amazing for a while and have great results, but none of the things I was doing were sustainable.

  • I pretty much resigned to the fact that I would be ‘fat and happy’ for the duration of my life.
  • I’m 43 years old and have suffered from plantar fasciitis for the last 5-6 years.
  • I was always tired, stressed, and just felt like garbage.

This past Fall I was the head football mom for my son’s high school football team. While it was a great experience, it turned out to be an unpaid full-time job! I let myself go and was surviving on one to two, 36-ounce diet sodas a day.

My brain was always foggy and my body just ached all of the time. I knew I couldn’t resign myself to eating whatever I wanted and have a healthy, productive life.  I realized that it was time to change NOW, or I was headed down a dangerous path.

I’d been toying with the idea to start the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge with CleanFoodCrush for over a year. Each time I went to join, I felt defeated before starting. I didn’t want to fail AGAIN!! I finally decided that I needed to clean up my eating act for good and make a commitment to myself, my family and my future grandchildren that I would be healthy for years to come. I just wanted to feel better, I was sick of the fad dieting and obsessing about my body image.

Since joining CleanFoodCrush on January 3rd, 2019, I’ve lost 12 pounds!  My clothes fit looser and more comfortably. My trainer has even noticed the changes in my body!

  • My workouts are getting easier. And I eat…all of the time!!
  • I always feel satisfied and am not hungry.
  • The brain fog is gone!
  • My energy is up and, drum roll please…..my plantar fasciitis is gone!!!
  • I get up in the morning and don’t limp around for a few hours.
  • I’ve learned that you can eat yummy food, including treats, with clean eating!
  •  I don’t feel deprived and have found tons of ways to substitute my favorites with healthier choices that don’t make me feel bloated and crappy.

Putting clean, green, and organic into my body has made all the difference! I don’t ache anymore and find myself waking up at 4:30 am with tons of energy. The weight loss was just an added bonus!!!

Week one was definitely the toughest week I’ve had in a long time!  My body was detoxing, both physically and mentally. But I got through it and I’m so glad I didn’t give up. A week is really not very long, even though it feels like it in the moment. 

My husband tried the full program with me for the first four days but stopped. As for my family, they eat a lot of the dinners I prepare and they LOVE the treats and the majority of the meals I make! 

It is not always easy, but if you can push through week one, it gets SO MUCH BETTER!! Trust the process, the amazing ladies (Daisy, Billie, and Rachel) and make an investment in yourself! 

Eating Clean has been a game changer in my life. Just remember if you decide to try this program, keep it simple, sweetie! You’ve got this and we’ve got your back. The CleanFoodCrush community is amazing and extremely supportive and I know you’ll be glad you said yes.
