We had the pleasure of interviewing a CleanFoodCrush member, Susan about her recent experience with the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge!

Introduce yourself, who are you?

My name is Susan McCracken, I am a retired payroll professional soon to be 74 in August.  I am a mother of two children, Jeffrey, and Amy with two grandchildren Jake and Emily. For fun I enjoy kayaking, traveling and I am a long time quilter.

What were your greatest challenges before Clean Eating?

Before Eating Clean I was cooking and eating food that wasn’t very healthy. I worked with three Dieticians through the years and no one taught “Clean Eating”. It’s funny because this is actually the most simple and sustainable route to losing weight and feeling good!

How has CleanFoodCrush and the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge help you to transform?

The major change for me was going sugar-free! I have learned what to eat, when to eat it, how to prepare the food and what this change will do for my body. I am so blessed to be free from my sugar addiction! It feels amazing and I don’t have cravings like I used to.

What kind of results have you experienced physically and otherwise from doing the challenge?

I have experienced a weight loss of 10.6 pounds in 28 days! I have lost several inches (sorry that I neglected to take my measurements) and I am no longer hungry or eating “mindlessly”. I have renewed energy!

I am a Type 2 diabetic and my Blood Glucose numbers have dropped drastically. My fibromyalgia has improved remarkably and I  no longer experiencing IBS! All because I’ve followed the plan laid out for me in the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge.

What was the experience like for you, for your family?

This experience was eye-opening for me! I learned more nutritional information than ever before, and I truly loved the wonderful recipes that were a part of the plan. The food plan is delicious and nutritious. The Facebook group was an incredible source of support for me.

I loved being able to communicate with my peers while taking the same program. Reading about their successes and questions helped me feel motivated, and I found myself continuously learning new things that gave me a sense of empowerment!

I’d recommend this program to anyone who is truly ready to feel AMAZING in their bodies and needs the extra support of a proven plan.
