Watermelon Lemonade/Limeade 🍉🍋🥤💦

Watermelon + Lemonade = Nothing better on a hot summer day!

💦 Here’s a fun fact: watermelon is 92% water – which means it can help keep you hydrated AND feeling full between meals. It also can aid in digestion.

💚 Its high water content means it’s lower in calories – but even so, it packs some surprising nutrition. In addition to containing vitamin C, it has carotenoids that convert to vitamin A, as well as lycopene, which has a long list of potential health benefits.

👀 Lycopene has been shown to be protective against certain cancers, heart disease, and age-related vision loss.

🤗 Here are some tips to get more of it in your diet: add it to drinks (like this one!), salads, and smoothies, or just enjoy it as a snack!

🙋‍♀️🍉 Raise your hand if you LOVE watermelon!! When was the last time you had some?

🍋Fresh Lemons & Limes contain a LONG list of nutritional benefits thanks to their antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals!

🦠 Lemons & Limes can help boost your immune system, ease your digestive system, and they even contain anti-cancer compounds.

💚 Plus, they are good for heart health, may help prevent stroke, can lower blood pressure, and they may contain compounds that help control your weight.

🥤 One way to get more lemon in your life is to drink this DELICIOUS fresh homemade Watermelon Lemonade throughout the hot summertime!

🎯 ALWAYS use freshly squeezed lemon/lime juice from an actual fresh lemon/lime. Bottled lemon juice from the store will give your lemonade a strange metallic or overly acidic taste.
