These are the clean ingredients that make this peach crisp delicious and nutritious.

  • 3 lbs juicy ripe peaches, pit removed and sliced
  • 1 fresh lemon, zest and juice of
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsps Arrowroot powder, gluten-free flour, or cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted grass-fed butter, ghee (Make your own ghee), or unrefined organic coconut oil, plus more for greasing the dish
  • 2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

How to Make Peach Crisp:

Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a medium baking dish with a little coconut oil or ghee.

Step 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine your peach slices, lemon zest, lemon juice and vanilla.

Step 2. Sprinkle the peach slices with your Arrowroot powder (or flour/cornstarch) and give everything a good toss to combine.

Step 3. Transfer this peach mixture to a baking dish.

Step 4. In the same bowl (no need to clean it) combine your almond meal, oats, chopped walnuts, sea salt, and cinnamon.

Add in the honey and melted butter, then thoroughly stir to get a wet crumbly mixture.
