Heather is Back, But She Left 15 Pounds Behind!

Heather first shared her story with us back in May when she lost 15 pounds.  She’s continued with everything she’s learned from her 30-Day Clean Eating Challenge and she’s lost 15  more pounds and gained confidence and energy!

We asked Heather some questions about how her journey is going.  We LOVE sharing these stories beacause it’s almost ALWAYS someone else’s story that has convinced each of us that we CAN do this!  We hope you find inspiration, confidence and courage to start your own transformation.  We are here for YOU, too!

Note: Something that you might notice in Heather’s story as well as many others is that they were cooking clean and eating CFC recipes long before joining the Challenge.  What they found was that the tools and support inside the Challenge were the x factors in successful weight loss.  But don’t take our word for it… We’ll let Heather tell you 🙂

CFC:  How long have you been following Rachel and CleanFoodCrush for now?

Heather:  I was diagnosed with celiac in 2018. I needed gluten free recipes and came across CleanFoodCrush through Pinterest. I had already been cooking most of the recipes for a few years. I was of course not eating maybe the cleanest products. I decided to jump on board February 2022 and give the 30-Day Challenge a try with all clean ingredients.

Nothing else had worked for me. It was always I would lose and put it back on. With the Challenge, I feel I’m making decisions that I can take with me for life.

CFC: Have you been following the plans since your last update?

Heather: I’ve continued to follow the plan since my two-month challenge in February/March.

CFC: What kind of results have you seen since then?

Heather: I have lost 15 more pounds for a total of 30lbs all together since February.

CFCHave you lost weight? If so, how much?

Heather: 30 lbs all together and still wanting to lose at least 10 more.

CFC: How is your energy?

Heather: My energy is amazing. I always have energy to make it through the day and get to the gym.

CFC: Have you noticed an improvement in your skin, sleep, overall health?

Heather: I haven’t had acid reflux in 6 months, Sleeping patterns have improved greatly.

CFC: What are your favorite features of CleanFoodCrush and the 30-Day Clean Eating Challenge?

Heather: The support staff was phenomenal on the 30-Day Challenge, and the great part about it is they stick with you even afterwards. I absolutley love all the recipes. I haven't had a recipe I didn't like.

CFC: What keeps you inspired and motivated?

Heather:  The non scale victories. It’s not always about the scale. It’s about how you feel when you look at yourself in the mirror.

CFC: Have any of your family or friends been inspired to join you on this journey?

Heather: My family is eating better with me and they really enjoy the CFC recipes. My girls are always begging me to make the Cheeseburger Salad. It's their favorite and so easy to make on the soccer practice nights.

CFC: How have you changed your life for the better since you last shared an update with us?

Heather:  I take more time for myself and mentally work on what I need by exercising and having me time.

➡️ I look forward to getting to the gym after work every day.

➡️ I don't feel the need to stress eat anymore.

➡️ I am making a more conscience effort on portion sizes as well.

➡️ Cravings are gone for the most part.

➡️ This lifestyle doesn't feel like a chore.

CFC: Knowing what you know now, and having so much experience with Clean Eating, what would you tell your younger self?

Heather: Take the time to meal prep, overall, it’s going to help make better choices in your overall daily routine. I would’ve told myself stay away from the empty calories and sugar.
