Kelly Lost 32 Pounds and 20 Inches!

My name is Kelly, I just celebrated my 50th Birthday on August 27, 2021! I’ve been married to my wonderful husband Ken for 24 years!! We have 2 awesome children Megan and Cameron and we are officially empty nesters this year and loving life.

We enjoy doing Crossfit together, going on walks, cooking together, and hanging out with our Family and Awesome friends. My Husband’s job is taking us on a new adventure this coming New Year, moving us out of Michigan and taking us to Texas!! We’re excited for this next chapter in our lives.

I had been following CleanFoodCrush for a while on Facebook and started trying out some of the recipes Rachel would post. They were a huge hit in the family.  I kept seeing the 30 Day Challenge and decided to join. 

Joining the Challenge was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  Rachel and her team were amazing and there to answer any questions I had. October 2020 was my first month.

 During My First Month: 

  • I was down 8lbs.
  • Lost quite a few inches.
  • I was so full of energy.
  • I was amazed at how good I felt not eating all those unwanted sugars.
  • To top it off, my Husband was down 10lbs too!! 

After my 2 months were done I bought the Annual Membership for myself as a Christmas present. (Because I deserved it).

I made a commitment to myself that by the time I turn 50 I was going to be healthy and in shape. As of October 1, 2021, I am down 32 lbs and 20 inches and  I feel Amazing. 

This is a lifestyle for me and it’s the best thanks to Rachel and CleanFoodCrush!!  Yes, I have had “cheat” meals and days though out this past year,  but I don’t let that discourage me. I feel it has helped me realize that I truly love the energy eating clean gives me and I’m so grateful that my husband is supportive and on this Clean Eating journey with me. I definitely have more to lose but I am doing this one day at a time.

I’m so thankful to Rachel and her team for being there for me this year and for many years to come as an Annual Member.

If you are thinking about doing the 30 Day Challenge I say, “you have nothing to lose but weight”!  I’m so glad I signed up a year ago and realized I deserve to be happy and healthy!!! 

I have also realized that I love to meal prep and cook some amazing foods for myself and my family. Our favorites that are made almost weekly are the Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken, Unstuffed Beef Eggroll, the overnight oats, and my ultimate staple in my fridge at all times is the Peanut Butter Energy Balls!!
