20 Delicious Meatball Recipes

I realized the other day that we have a TON of delicious meatball recipes here at CleanFoodCrush. I’m not sure what it is about them, but meatballs are SUPER POPULAR and well-received with my 6 teenagers and young adults. I always know that if there are some on the table, I’ll have a very happy and satisfied family! 

Plus, they’re great for parties as fun little appetizers, and there are a surprising number of ways to prepare them. So, of course, I had to compile all of my favorite meatball recipes in a list!

And here it is. 20 AMAZING meatball recipes for you to try:

1. Buffalo-Style Chicken Meatballs

Garlic and hot sauce combined to create an ultra-satisfying and super-fun meal of flavorful buffalo-style chicken meatballs! Consider doubling up this recipe so you have some for meal-prepped lunches for a few days.

2. Crockpot/Slow Cooker Meatballs

If you don’t have much time to spare for cooking, this is the recipe for you. Break out your slow cooker to do most of the work in creating these tender meatballs filled with delicious herbs and spices.

3. Chickpea Soup with Turkey Meatballs

I told you there are several ways to prepare this food! We have a few meatball soup recipes, and this is one of my top choices. Hearty meatballs, flavorful veggies, fiber-packed creamy chickpeas, and a touch of freshly squeezed lemon juice + zest to keep it bright!

Are you a spaghetti fan? I know I am! This recipe is fantastic for days when you want a lower-carb option but still crave a classic comfort food like spaghetti and meatballs.

I make soup at least once a week, year-round; it’s quick, easy, affordable, and my family always loves it. I often double or triple my batch so that we have future meals. Soup is ALWAYS better the next day once the flavors have more time to develop.

General Tso Sauce is a sweet n’ spicy Chinese sauce that is extremely popular in Chinese American cuisine, and I decided to make a CFC version of it! The recipe is adaptable to your personal sweetness preference, so feel free to experiment until it’s perfect for your tastebuds!

I have a feeling this recipe will have a recurring spot on your weekly dinner menu! You can confidently feed your family with flavorful meatballs, creamy sauce, and ingredients, knowing they’re getting crucial nutrients.

10. Crispy Air Fryer Meatballs

Once I finally got an air fryer, I never looked back! It just creates the perfect crispy texture in foods without covering them with fatty oils. These crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside meatballs are great for mealtime, snacktime, appetizers, and food prep!

This balsamic glaze takes the recipe to a whole new level that always hits the spot. Of course, I wasn’t done with “spaghetti” recipes! These zoodles are surprisingly tasty, and zucchini has quite an impressive nutritional scoreboard with high levels of potassium, B vitamins, dietary fiber, and antioxidants.

These are just as tasty as they are gorgeous! The slight tang pairs well with the creamy coconut sauce. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the end result!

Although fresh pineapple is available year-round in most of the US, this island fruit peaks from March through July, so we’re coming up on its prime time! Besides being delicious, fresh Pineapple is packed with nutrients, antioxidants, and other helpful compounds, such as enzymes that can help with digestion and fight inflammation and disease.
