22 Easy and Tasty Skillet Recipes

There is nothing better than a super tasty, satisfying, quick, and easy One-Pan Skillet meal on a busy weeknight! 

When I don’t have time to dedicate to a complicated meal but still want to create something exceptional, I turn to one of these skillet recipes that, though simple, are busting with flavor and nutrients. Since you’re only using one pan, clean-up is quick, too!

We have a LOT of skillet recipes and one-pan recipes here at CFC, and here are just 22 of our all-time favorites:

1. Tex-Mex Inspired Sweet Potato Skillet

Try this dish if you’re looking for a new flavor-packed side dish! I kid you not…my favorite thing I’ve eaten this week!

Plus, it smells incredible. Just start cooking, and the aroma will bring them all to your kitchen!

2. Feta Tomato Chicken Skillet

Here’s a fantastic, tasty one-pan chicken dish that will impress all of your hungry people in less than 30 minutes.

Seriously, it’s SO simple yet phenomenal. 

3. Gingered Beef + Broccoli Skillet

This Ginger Sauce Recipe is wholly delicious and nutritious.

Broccoli supports the function of your brain, digestive, and immune system, is good for your heart, keeps your bones and joints strong, and can help control blood sugar!

4. Garlic-Herb Sautéed Shrimp + Veggies

One-pan stir-fries are genuinely one of the best dinner ideas for many reasons.

There is less to clean up after; it’s straightforward and quick, and there are plenty of veggies and protein!

5. Creamy Jalapeno Chicken Skillet

This is one of my favorite skillet meals because I LOVE spicy foods, and I like to add lots of jalapeños.

But you can add less jalapeño to keep things on the mild side if that’s your preference!

Make this meal your own and perfect for your family’s taste buds. 

6. Mexican-Inspired Garden Fresh Salmon Skillet

Salmon is high in protein and omega-3 fatty acids that provide well-documented benefits for the heart and brain, so this is a recipe you’ll want to add to your menu.

Just 20 minutes and some ingredients are all you need, and you’ll have a wonderful and healthy dinner on the table in no time! 

7. Quick Chicken Arrabbiata Skillet

Arrabbiata literally means “angry” in Italian, and like the beloved pasta sauce, this quick chicken skillet packs a little punch depending on how much chili flakes we add! 

8. Skillet Zucchini Mini Pizzas

Look how adorable these mini pizzas are! They’re SO fun and make the perfect snack, finger food, or appetizer.

Have your kids join you in the kitchen to make them, and take the opportunity to teach them the importance of cooking clean foods while creating lasting memories.

9. One-Pan Mediterranean Style Shrimp Quinoa Skillet

Quinoa is a good source of fiber and antioxidants and a perfect ingredient for tasty recipes like this Mediterranean skillet meal. Quinoa contains several essential minerals – including magnesium, iron, and zinc – and may help lower blood sugar levels. 

10. Chicken Artichoke Skillet

Bright and tangy tender chicken pieces with a flavorful sauce nestled in artichokes and olives, this meal is easy to make at home yet tastes like something a little fancier that you’d enjoy at a nice restaurant.

11. Mexican-Inspired Beef & Veggie Skillet

12. Spanish-Style Fish Skillet

If you’re a garlic lover (like me!) Then you’re really going to enjoy this simple skillet meal!

Don’t be shy with the garlic…add to your heart’s desire.

13. Arroz Con Pollo Skillet

Arroz con pollo is a traditional dish in Latin America and Spain, and this recipe is my interpretation of what I had in my kitchen. You’re probably going to want to double this recipe to save more for future meals and so people can come back for seconds! 

14. Quick Steak + Shrimp Skillet

When you’re looking for something super satisfying, this high-protein combo of steak & shrimp will definitely do the trick!

This meal comes together quickly and can be enjoyed as is or served over brown rice or quinoa.

15. Taco-Style Cabbage Skillet

This is one of my go-to recipes when I think our diet needs a little more veggies.

There are many familiar taco flavors and some cheese to make it tasty, but the bulk is lean protein + cabbage, so it’s super satisfying and helps me stick to my personal goals!

16. Ultra Creamy Chicken + Mushroom Skillet

Warm, comforting, creamy, and mouth-watering, this chicken and mushroom chicken meal deserves a spot on your menu!

It makes for excellent meal-prepping so that you can make some now for lunch or dinner tomorrow. 

17. Beef and Zucchini Skillet

Zucchini has quite an impressive nutritional scoreboard – from high levels of potassium, B vitamins, dietary fiber, and antioxidants, all of which benefit our overall health.

18. French Onion-Chicken Skillet

Here’s a spin on an absolute classic recipe – french onion soup!

This version is more packed with protein and goes well with steamed broccoli and cooked brown rice.

19. Beef Enchilada Skillet with Cauliflower Rice

My entire family DEVOURED this “build-your-own style” enchilada skillet! All our teenagers really like creating their own bowls, and everyone is happy because they’re in control.

20. Artichoke Chicken Piccata

Chicken piccata is one of my favorite dishes, and I only made it better by adding some artichokes in this rendition!

Salty, savory, briny goodness in every bite! Artichokes are a good source of fiber and have a host of nutrients.

They can also help you regulate your blood pressure and improve liver health.

21. Cheesy Fajita Skillet

Impress your friends and family with this easy fajita skillet! It’s creamy, cheesy, melty, warm, satisfying, and just all-around fantastic!

22. Quick Chicken “Cheesesteak” Skillet

We’ve got tender, perfectly seasoned chicken strips quickly stir-fried along with flavorful onions and tender-crisp sweet peppers topped with a thin layer of melty cheese. This one is known to make even the pickiest family member happy!
