My name is Erika and I am so excited about this opportunity to share my journey on the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge with you 🙂
My name is Erika. I am 46 years old, married mom to two college-age daughters. I work full time at a busy orthodontic office. I love hiking, traveling, and photography.
I have been trying to lose unwanted weight for quite a few years, but anything I tried was unsuccessful. The weight would just creep up to the same starting point even with the workouts.
Finally, I joined the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge after trying (and LOVING) Rachel ‘s recipes from her blog for about a year. I was very nervous to start the Clean Eating Challenge, but followed the plan pretty much to a T. Resisting sugar cravings was my biggest challenge because I love chocolate, but it goes easier as time went on!
I lost 5 lbs after the first week and 12 overall in my first 30 days. And it wasn’t just pounds I was losing, but inches too!
Most importantly the challenge helped me change my mindset and relationship with food.
I stopped focusing on numbers and started paying attention to what goes into my body. Because it was working for me, I joined the annual CleanFoodCrush membership!
